The reporter learned from the Ministry of Transport on June 17 that the Jingxiong Bridge of the Jingxiong Expressway was completed on the same day. As a major difficulty and control project of the entire Jingxiong Expressway, the Helong of the Jingxiong Bridge has laid the foundation for the opening of the entire Jingxiong Expressway.


Jingxiong Bridge is located at the "intersection" of Yongding River and Jingxiong Expressway, with a total length of 1.62 kilometers, of which the length of the main bridge is 520 meters. When completed, the bridge will be the longest single-span bridge in Beijing.


According to Gao Linlong, chief engineer of the Jingxiong Bridge Branch of China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau, the main bridge of Jingxiong Bridge adopts a Feiyan arch bridge structure, and the bridge arch ribs and main girder are designed with steel structure.


In order to facilitate processing and hoisting, the full-bridge steel structure consists of 126 steel "building blocks" of different shapes. "During the splicing process, we used a three-dimensional hydraulic jack for 'fine tuning' to control the error to the millimeter level and ensure that the project was perfected." Gao Linlong said.


It is understood that the Jingxiong Expressway will be fully opened to traffic within this year. At that time, drive from Beijing's South Fifth Ring Road to Xiong'an New Area in 60 minutes.
