Sales will increase by 35%!

According to the International Energy Agency's "2023 Global Electric Vehicle Outlook" report released on April 26, global electric vehicle sales this year will increase by 35% from the previous year to 14 million units, accounting for 18% of the overall automotive market.

Electric vehicles have become an irreversible trend in the future development of the automotive industry. This trend was undoubtedly demonstrated during the Shanghai Motor Show, the world's first A-class auto show in 2023. In other passenger car venues other than the "new energy vehicle hall", electrification has also "rolled" to a new height: nearly half of the 27 models exhibited by Mercedes-Benz are new energy vehicles; Audi did not bring a single fuel car; Honda also did not exhibit pure fuel vehicles; Toyota showroom only one pure fuel vehicle on display...

Obviously, under the vision of carbon neutrality, electrification is the track for global car companies to rush, "grab" time, "grab" the market, and "grab" innovation. However, with the rapid growth of electric vehicle sales, will fuel vehicles soon lose their footing? Not really. Kang Linsong, chairman of the board of directors of Mercedes-Benz, said that in the next decade, fuel vehicles and electric vehicles will coexist. Many people in the industry also pointed out that electric vehicles to replace fuel vehicles is the inevitable of the times, but fuel vehicles will not completely disappear, with mature technology and stable quality, for some consumers and some segments, fuel vehicles still have its space and value.
