According to preliminary calculations, the GDP in the first three quarters was 870269 billion yuan, an increase of 3.0% year-on-year at constant prices, 0.5 percentage points faster than the first half of the year.


By industry, the added value of the primary industry was 5,477.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%; the added value of the secondary industry was 350189 billion yuan, an increase of 3.9%; The added value of the tertiary industry was 4.653 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.3%.


In terms of quarters, GDP in the first quarter increased by 4.8% year-on-year, 0.4% in the second quarter, and 3.9% in the third quarter. On a month-on-month basis, GDP grew by 3.9% in the third quarter.
