On July 24, according to Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, six test planes of C919 large aircraft have successfully completed all the flight test tasks, marking the official conclusion of C919 airworthiness certification.

Flight test is an important part of the certification of a newly developed aircraft model and one of the important methods to show that the aircraft design meets the airworthiness requirements. The flight test verifies the design idea and technical route of the aircraft, and shows that the safety and reliability of the aircraft meet the requirements of airworthiness regulations. Six test aircraft completed all the test missions, which was an important phased victory in the development of the C919 large aircraft project.

In addition, in May this year, the first C919 large aircraft to be delivered to China Eastern Airlines, the first user, successfully made its maiden flight at Shanghai Pudong airport.

C919 large aircraft is a large jet civil aircraft developed by China in accordance with international civil aviation regulations and with independent intellectual property rights. The final assembly line was completed in November 2015, and the first flight was successful in May 2017. At present, it has 815 orders from 28 customers.
